An application has been received to rezone 1552 Esquimalt Avenue to add 131 new purpose-built rental units in a new apartment building and ground-oriented housing flats.

The site is currently developed with a 185 unit rental apartment building (“Ambleside Towers”), which will remain. On site parking will be increased from 183 to 248 spaces within the underground parkade. The applicant held a public information meeting about the proposal on May 7, 2019.

The proposal will be considered by Design Review Committee on June 20, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in Council Chamber. The public is welcome to attend and observe the meeting.
